Hi Tim:
I have been following your links and material for several months and I appreciate the amount of good helpful content that you provide. I am sorry that I didn’t take a closer look at your tribal marketing program when you first offered it but just did not have the time. Will consider your recommendations as we come to the new decade. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your posts.
Tim, obviously you have put into action what you learned (but then have you really learned unless action is applied?) from the books you have recommended.
Thank you for the nudge.
God’s richest blessings to you and yours,
Appreciate this blog Tim:) Lots of end of the year communication to sort through in my email and really like the concise way you sum up the way to focus yourself by bringing the past and the future together for making it my time to be the success story. Great job!
Happy New Year Tim!
So true, staying focused is the hardest thing while “working” even from an office. Go in to a forum and 2 hours becomes like 5 min. Using “blinkers” and making a list what to do helps me stay on track. “The more I learn the less I know”: Good luck in the new decade and be kind to yourself!!!
Hi Moose Man,
Thanks for the kind words. I just checked out your Russian Boar site… DANG, it is very impressive. I see you’re from Negaunee, MI - I lived up in Houghton, MI for approx. 5 years… I loved it up there.
Have a great year and keep in touch.
Tim
Thanks for stopping by… I too did time in Houghton, my buddies kids are doing their time. The finest place, in the known universe, to do one’s Rites-of-Passage.
I took a break from playing “Mortal Combat” and came in from the snow (no global warming in the UP) and stopped by the USCCA…
What excellent skills you have, as you write to the core values, beliefs, traditions, and the morals & ethics of your customer.
These are the same core components for the Guests who stay at Bear Mountain Lodge (predominantly, Affluent Boomers; their Kids and of course the Grandparents)
The very next time you get the urge to journey back to the Great White North, call me, as I would enjoy hosting you as my guest at Lodge. (800) 676-9821
PS 2 … you are standing in 7 inches of virgin white powder staring 27 yards into the blood red eyes of a 452 pound Primordial Beast-of-Prey: Will you hold the line?
You are the second to recommend a “decade end” review. “Once is coincidence, two is enemy action.” Seriously, I agree with most of what you said, but disagree with “buying every marketing course.” Yes, you can learn, but most of the promo stuff tells me there is only about 1% is worth anything, and that is common sense anyway. A very small collection of the IM Gurus’s actually have anything worthwhile to say. Those are: Frank Kern, John Carlton, and a few others. The rest are busy reselling the same C— that everyone else is.
The are so busy “selling” affiliate links that I’m about to flush their newsletters, like the S— they have become. Like politicians, they are so invested in the old ways, they can’t see that things are changing. Google flushing so many affiliate sites should have been a warning shot. But. like so many in D.C., they aren’t listening.
My prediction for 2010 and beyond is that the real market will be actually selling something. I.e., real products of some sort, and very few JV/Affiliate marketing program will be successful. Just like Spam, they have saturated, and eaten their market, because of the greed.
As soon as I scrape up enough from my SSDI check remnants, I will be self publishing/selling a book for small businesses, on how to “Advertise, Market, and Sell more effectively for Small Business.” Sigh. version one isn’t even published, and version 2 is already in process. Of course, on what I have left after I pay the bills now, 2 may turn out to be #1. If you, or anyone else wants to review a copy, contact me at
fbngraph at earthlink dot net, attention review copy. I’ll send it as soon as I can, in PDF form.
Please post in written format so we cen rapidly scan through your thinking. This video was thin in real content but it took viewing all of it to realize this.
Sorry to be so be negative but I flet compelled to tell you the truth from my perspective.
Thank you for listening and perhaps be willing to raise your game.
I would like to know the same as Karen, how did, and what video editing software do you use to accomplish the video blog presentation?
Thanks Tim

Hi Tim,
Terrific content today; thank you!
I want to add 2 books that you recommended to me a few months ago: How to Get Rich by Felix Denis and No BS Wealth Attraction for Entrepreneurs.
Loving to read as I do, I was pleased to find BookSwim.com in cj.com- it’s like Netflix for smart people: books instead of videos!
Have a Happy and Healthy 2010!

I really enjoyed this video and need to go back and watch it again (maybe twice).
I would like to suggest you post your reading list. I would like to review it without watching the video.
One of my goals for this year is to read more.

Hi Karen and DeJuan,
For the presentation within the video I use Keynote. The screen capture software that I use is ScreenFlow.
